About the Tri-axis ActiSleep Monitor Device
The ActiSleep monitor is the first sleep specific device from ActiGraph. When worn during sleep episodes, the ActiSleep monitor provides sleep quality measurements such as sleep onset, sleep latency, total sleep time, number and duration of awakenings and sleep efficiency. An integrated ambient light sensor provides information on subject environment. The ActiSleep monitor is also capable of providing physical activity measurements such as activity counts and vector magnitude, energy expenditure, steps taken, activity intensity levels, MET’s and more. The ActiSleep monitor has a sleek, lightweight and compact design for maximum comfort. It has 4MB of non-volatile memory and a rechargeable battery capable of providing power for 8 days between charges.
